Lexi Fontein

Creative Director & Alice in Wonderland

After studying design and journalism at Rhodes University, Lexi moved to London where she worked for a variety of international agencies. The highlight of her time abroad was the time she spent with Titan Entertainment Publishers. Missing the South African warmth, she packed up and came home. She spent time working in Johannesburg before making the move to Cape Town.

With a background in publishing, textile printing, advertising and branding, Lexi has quickly made her way to being a holistic designer. She launched Wonderland Collective in early 2012, after 3 years of freelance work. Her passions include photography, illustration, anything digital/ tech based, and hopes to make a contribution to animal welfare.

Graeme

Graeme Lipschitz

Business Development Director & Mad Hatter

Graeme Lipschitz studied his passions at Rhodes University: English Literature and Philosophy. After completing his PDEM he moved to London and worked for Google as a Maximiser – making big corporate accounts perform well on the their advertising system, Adwords. He helped to open the South Africa office and then joined Clicks2Customers as their Business Development Manager.

His penchant for public speaking has led Graeme to speak at numerous industry events and conferences. He writes for tech industry publication Memeburn and in 2012 he cofounded Wonderland Collective. He loves his dogs, long walks on the beach and dreaming of products: both in the real world and online.

Luke Wingnean

Designer & Grave Robber

Between playing hacky-sack and doodling to death, Luke studied fine art in the Buffalo of all cities in the Eastern Cape. He worked for a variety of agencies post varsity, including textile design and printing, graphic design and branding agencies. While also spending time in London, Luke moved to Cape Town to be a part of the always expanding creative industry.

With one eye on illustration, and two feet entrenched in digital, Luke is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to design. He’s also easily persuaded with jelly beans. His passions include photography, illustration, print making, rock climbing, table tennis and conversing with talking parrots. Luke is an all round design rock star.

Ines Soutschka

Ines Soutschka

Designer & White Rabbit

Ines grew up in the Namibian wild: donkey cart racing and swimming in old green-with-algae farm reservoirs. When she moved to Cape Town at the age of ten her world turned up-side down. Big city life was quite a change but Ines flourished. After school she spent some time doing silly things like traveling Europe and studying animation. She eventually managed to get her B.Tech degree in graphic design.

While studying, she developed a passion for anything print; be it illustration, packaging or publication. She has recently also discovered her passion for the amazing world of digital. She looks forward to exploring anything from “old school” to “super future” while creating mind blowing designs.
